What People Are Saying About Fighting Flashcards…

“I love the concept of an actual, tangible game, not just an app, for language learning! If you study a language and need to learn vocabulary, or even if you don’t study a language, but have flashcards, you can play Fighting Flashcards. It came in a nice, red pouch with a case to protect the cards. The cards are very nicely made, beautiful, and detailed. I love the game’s simplicity, however, it does comes with a detailed rulebook and storyline, which I don’t want to give away! In the game, you just draw a card, play it, and that’s your turn, but there are so many things that can happen! Another thing that I really liked is that Matt has tutorials for how to play this game on his Language Card Games YouTube channel. When I think of this game, I think of classrooms, libraries, game cafes, and language resource centers; it could be used in so many different places.”

-Angela Pegarella, founder of PassionforDreaming language learning vlog, USA

“These games are fun so far! I’ve been starting out with the simpler ones (Fighting Flashcards and Language Guardians), but plan to learn the more complicated ones, like Othertongue, soon. My friend, who also ordered games from you recently, is my housemate. He’s played the games with me several times and enjoyed them. I guess he wanted his own set, especially since I’m going to have to move away for work soon, and will take my games with me. We have several housemates all of whom are avid board game players, and several of whom are learning languages as well. My friend in particular is a big linguistics geek and a conlanger, so I knew that LCG would be popular around here when I bought the games! Good luck with your business! I think you’re making a really clever product and I hope it continues to get popular!”

-Ansel, USA

“I just received my decks! Your packaging is utterly adorable and I love everything so very much already! Thank you for creating such a fun way to help people learn! Seeing that these games exist inspires me greatly to work on the card games I’d kind of pushed to the side. I hadn’t considered making something to help someone learn! Maybe once I finish my own language studies I’ll be making fun games as well. You can guarantee I’ve already been sending pictures to my friends, and trying to convince other friends to study a language, too, so I have someone to play with. I’ll be taking these to university this fall, where I’ll be majoring in Romance Languages with a Minor of Japan Studies. So I’ll be sharing a lot with my fellow students and linking to you a lot!”

-Akasha, Romance Languages Major, USA

“Now THAT’s a great game concept! You can use this game to dramatically spice up ANY kind of flash card review, not just English.”

-J.P. Janssen, founder of Thinking World language card game company, Japan

“Good news, I got Fighting Flashcards today! It looks very nice and elegant. It arrived in an impressive box, and even an additional red bag (I guess this is the right word :)) to put the cards in. Beyond my expectations! Beautiful!”

-Ahikam, Teacher, Israel

“Looks great. Just ordered a deck of Fighting Flashcards. This looks like a fun idea and probably better for practicing Chinese than the other decks I bought. I tried making up flashcard games with my son for his Chinese school. I look forward to trying these out.”

-Kevin, founder of WordSwing, USA

“I want to get Fighting Flashcards and show them to my cousins!”

-Ed, Teacher, USA

“I’m an ESL teacher and I think my 3-5th graders would love Fighting Flashcards. Going to order them.”

-Patrick, founder of Langarcade and teacher, USA
